Research Projects Once the outlines of your project are decided upon, you will need to submit a research proposal. Open Ocean obligated to report and obtain approval, for all marine and terrestrial studies, to the Egyptian authorities before beginning fieldwork. Open Ocean will assist you with all the necessary steps required to obtain permissions, and mediate information between you and the authorities. Names and addresses of involved scientists, supervisors and students Scheduled period of time for the study Title of your field project or scientific work Intentions/ objectives of the project (project values and importance to environmental protection and conservation is advisable) Investigation sites Description of in-situ observations and experiments, including methods, and any possible environmental samples required.
